For the first few months of our pet’s life, we moved three times. A friend recommended that I call Tiffany Stearns to assist in helping our pet acclimate to her first permanent home. The results were extraordinary. Not only does Tiffany make house calls and work with dogs personally, she and her partner Mary Frances Dael, run a gorgeously meticulous dog training and boarding facility in the heart of Greenspring Valley called The Schoolhouse.By now a friendship between the ladies at The Schoolhouse has developed with my husband and me. I feel like I might never feel comfortable boarding my dog anywhere else. From my perspective, The Schoolhouse has worked some kind of magic for my dog, so why not shout their praises?

I just want to thank all of you at Follow My Lead for all you have done for our rescue dog. He was less than a year old when you first saw him and he was a wild one. He had been living on the streets and was not adjusting to be restricted; for example, pulling everywhere when walking on a leash. But now thanks to you, he has been so good. He has made such great progress in so many areas. He walks with us on a leash and seems to just enjoy the walk. We can now groom him and he doesn’t try to nip us. He runs to us when we call him. He used to bark when we would get ready to throw his ball in the yard. He has stopped doing that and now just enjoys running after the ball and bringing it back. And to top it off, the groomer said today that he is getting very good when he is on the table. She can clip his nails, etc. and he is so much better! I know that most of this is thanks to you guys. You are terrific! Thank you so much, Tiffany and Mary Frances!! We are truly grateful for everything you have taught us and done for us. We can't thank you enough for helping him to become a good member of our family. Marcel loves the schoolhouse, your entire team, and ongoing training with the other dogs.
I first met Tiffany Stearns and Mary Frances Dael in May of 2018 and joined their dog obedience group, Follow My Lead (“FML”) in an effort to acclimate my Golden Retriever to city life in Baltimore. We often meet in crowded public places like The Farmers’ Market, and through the streets of Fells Pt. We also meet regularly in Meadow Wood Park and Druid Hill Park for group classes. During this past year, the progress we have made with our dog has been more than just noticeable. Unlike most dog trainers I’ve encountered, Tiffany focuses primarily on teaching dog owners how to communicate with their dogs, and to understand the signals the dogs give to them and how to respond. For us, meeting the women at FML has been life- changing. We are really grateful for all the help we had from the FML team , absolutely professional and anything they do is for our dogs' benefit! A big thank you to FML.
Tiffany is an amazing trainer and is a great teacher to us humans in learning and understanding dog behavior. She has been integral with helping me with my foster dog. Thank you!
Just started with FML and we are so excited! Tiffany’s first meeting with us was sooo eye opening and productive. We can’t wait to learn more!
My wife and I have entrusted Tiffany and Mary Frances with the care and training of our dog Ellie Mae for approximately the past five years. We are highly impressed with their expertise and approach to enhance the overall socialization of dogs. Ellie Mae has been socialized to appropriately interact with other dogs in a healthy way. The outcome has been a mature and well-adapted dog that has significantly enhanced our human-dog bonding experience.

We have been a client of Follow My Lead since our dog Sam was just a few months old, over a year now. Sam has greatly benefited from his weekly training with Follow My Lead. He follows commands, is gentle and loving, he listens so well to all of us. We attribute much of that to the expertise Tiffany and her crew at Follow My Lead have provided to him and to us. We are so grateful for their services.
